I continue to be astounded by the assumption that concern for animals is a secular, progressive cause. There are many atheists and progressives who don't care a whit about animals. There are many theists and conservatives (such as Dr Webb) who care a great deal about animals. Can we put this stupid assumption behind us and work together?
