Here is a
New York Times story about the hunting of wild pigs. Ceteris paribus, it's better (morally) to eat the flesh of a wild pig than it is to eat the flesh of a factory-farmed pig, since the latter suffers a great deal (more). I'm not saying it's
right to eat the flesh of a wild pig; I'm saying it's
better. I'm making a comparative claim. I'm pretty sure Peter Singer would agree with me (for what that's worth).
